Fairtrade Fair

On Saturday March 5th there was a Fairtrade Fair with Cookery Demonstrations in the Corn Exchange, Devizes Market Place from 10am to 3.30pm. Claire Perry MP opened the Fair. There were stalls selling Fairtrade and locally produced food, clothes and crafts and Fairtrade refreshments were available.
Cookery demonstrations were by Bistro chef Peter Vaughan.

Fairtrade Fashion Show

On Wednesday March 9th there was a Fairtrade Fashion Show in the Town Hall.Philemon Allen, a Fairtrade banana producer from the Windward Islands, was the guest speaker. The Fashion Show was compered by Matthew Smith of BBC Wiltshire Radio.
Fairtrade wine, hot drinks and snacks

were served.
